Lithium projects

ERO’s lithium exploration concept

ERO will focus on exploration and development of lithium hosted in the brines and sediments of South Australia’s Wertaloona Project and Lake Torrens areas.

The Company intends to move quickly to implement its proposed exploration program with the initial aim of delineating priority drill targets for lithium in the Wertaloona Project area. Exploration will first focus on areas where levels of up to 250ppm lithium have been encountered by earlier exploration by Comalco (CAC) for industrial minerals. These levels compare favourably with those from commercial production at Clayton Valley (Silver Peak) in Nevada, USA. However, ERO’s Wertaloona Project area is more than 21-times larger than Clayton Valley.

ERO’s lithium tenements

ERO has an extensive range of 100% owned tenements with excellent potential for brine hosted lithium in the Wertaloona Project and Lake Torrens areas. The Company has taken advantage of its first mover position by acquiring tenements over the most prospective parts of South Australia’s salt Lakes Frome and Torrens and surrounding areas.

Lithium exploration program

ERO proposes to undertake systematic close spaced drilling, on the Wertaloona Project area focusing where lithium values are known to be highly anomalous, and test sediments, local, shallow and deeper aquifers and brines for lithium and associated chemicals.

Ongoing lithium exploration

Expand the drilling and testing program to the remainder of Wertaloona Project areas and seek joint ventures with companies holding northern parts of Lake Frome for other minerals.

Begin drilling and testing in the Company’s Lake Torrens project areas.
